Once the item leaves Japan, you can also use the destination country's national postal service website for more detailed local delivery updates.

Initially, track your parcel using the Japan Post website with your 13-digit tracking number. Once the package clears Japanese customs and arrives in the United States, it is handled by USPS. For the most accurate domestic updates and delivery times, enter the same tracking number into the USPS tracking system.

Enter your tracking number on the Japan Post website to see its current status. Key milestones include Dispatch from outward office of exchange (left Japan) and Arrival at inward office of exchange (reached destination country). If updates pause, the item is likely undergoing customs inspections or local postal processing.

If you missed a delivery, locate the Undeliverable Item Notice left by the carrier.
