Deutsche Post Package Tracking

Your tracking number is found on the physical posting receipt provided by the post office. If you purchased postage online, the number is in your confirmation email or under your account's order history. These identifiers typically consist of letters and numbers, often ending in DE for shipments from Germany.

Track your package through the Deutsche Post website first. Once the shipment reaches the United States and passes through customs, it is handed over to USPS. For the most accurate local updates and delivery confirmation within the USA, enter your original tracking number into the USPS tracking system.

While both belong to the same group, they use different systems. Deutsche Post handles letters and small merchandise, while DHL manages larger parcels. If your tracking number is not recognised on the Deutsche Post site, try the DHL tracking portal instead.

For letters or small merchandise sent as Warenpost, use the letter tracking section on the Deutsche Post website. If the item is a larger package, it may have been processed via DHL, which requires using the DHL tracking interface rather than the standard Deutsche Post letter portal.
